About me
Berlin-based artist whose practice has intensified over the past two years as a means of personal reconnection. My work, primarily portraiture, explores themes of identity, vulnerability, and intimacy through an introspective approach. By settling in the German capital, I found a space of freedom conducive to expressing this queer singularity and seeking community. My technique is distinguished by the use of a continuous, fluid line, capturing the essence of emotions in the moment. Starting with a pencil or ink base, I then incorporate fragmented watercolor washes to add depth to feelings. This creative process becomes an outlet, allowing me to materialize previously repressed emotions and reclaim personal narratives long kept hidden. Each face depicted becomes the vehicle for an inner story, where the unbroken line symbolizes perseverance in the face of adversity. By favoring portraiture, I seek to leave a memorable trace of states of mind, transforming the quest for self into a form of visual liberation.
